Mackenzie "Mac" Lenihan joined the Henderson County Attorney's Office in July 2025 as an Assistant County Attorney. Mac was raised in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. After graduating from Saint Xavier in Louisville he went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Louisville in 2012. Mac studied law at the University of Kentucky, earning his J.D. in 2015.
Mac is a member of the Kentucky Army National Guard, serving as a JAG Officer since 2024. He and his wife, Kayla Lenihan, have two golden retrievers: Bubba and Nelly.
